Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Force (電脳戦機バーチャロン フォース Dennō Senki Bācharon Fōsu) is a 3D Mecha fighting game developed by Hitmaker and published by Sega. It was released in Japanese arcades only on the Sega Hikaru arcade system board in 2001. Following its initial release, there was no home console port of the game due to the Arcade Board's superior graphical capabilities. A region free port of the game was announced to be re-released on the Xbox 360[1][2] on December 22, 2010. The logo reads "Virtual On 4 Force," even though Force is the third Virtual On title. The "4" possibly refers to the fact that four players can compete simultaneously.
Description
For a while now, there are still some competitive AC-shooters in both America, and Japan.
Some were made in the year 2005 and are still dominating in local arcades today.
Thanks to the creators of the popular video-game franchises, some of us still drive 15 minutes to a local "Dave&Busters" just to play them, and increase the popularity of these dominant games.
Will this long war ever end?
We will never know.
Here are the top Arcade-shooters...

Ghost squad
Ghost Squad is a light gun rail shooter arcade game developed and published by Sega for the Chihiro board. A home version has been developed for Nintendo's Wii game console.
Sega first released Ghost Squad in 2004, and released Ghost Squad Evolution in 2007.[2]Ghost Squad features a simulated IR light gun shaped similar to the standard issue weapon the game's protagonists use.
This light gun is intended to function realistically: it features a working fire selector switch, a stock, force-feedback recoil, and iron sights. To ensure that the light gun fires accurately, a 20-second "calibration" mode is provided in which the game adjusts for any jostling or damage to the rifle's light-emitting components.
Ghost Squadfeatures different weapons, each with its firing and reload properties (i.e. long shot splash, long reload time) which affect its difficulty of use. Ghost Squad features three semi non-linear levels with adjustable difficulty and branching choices, ranging from the jungle, a government-restricted villa in hills, and inside an Air Force One flight. There are many sub-activities in the game, such as defusing bombs and throwing grenades to disable armor, which are accomplished via the secondary "Action" trigger on the gun's foregrip.
Time crisis 4
Time Crisis 4 is the fourth installment in Namco's Time Crisis series. As with its predecessors, the game introduces new features to the gameplay engine alongside a new story and roster of characters. It was initially released for arcade circulation in 2006 and was ported to the PlayStation 3 in 2007.
The game begins in California, where intelligence officials from both the US Military and the V.S.S.E. learn about a top secret weapon targeted for terrorists' smuggling.
William Rush infiltrates a pier to gather more information, and finds that the enemy has already acquired the insect-like weapons (codenamed "Terror Bite"). After being told by Elizabeth Conway about an information leak incident at the airport, Rush then heads to the airport to rescue VSSE agents Giorgio Bruno and Evan Bernard advance further to subdue the weapons smugglers.
House of the dead 4
The House of the Dead 4 is a light gun arcade game with a horror theme and the fourth installment of the House of the Dead series of video games, developed by Sega. The game is an interquel and takes place between the events of The House of the Dead 2 and The House of the Dead III, and introduced several new gameplay concepts. Players can control characters James Taylor, from The House of the Dead 2, or Kate Green, a new character to the series.
The House of the Dead 4 is the first game to run on the Sega Lindbergh arcade system board. Currently, it is also the last game in the series to use Tarot Cards as names for bosses. It has yet to receive a console port despite the game's popularity and demand by gamers for it to be ported; the game has been in arcades for years, with no current plans for a console release in sight( You can also find this at your local "Dave&Busters").In the year 2003, three years after the events of The House of the Dead 2, AMS agents James Taylor and newcomer Kate Green are gathering intelligence at the fifth basement floor of the AMS European branch office. The former of the two still has the events of the 2000 Goldman case on his mind, and believes that the ordeal had not yet ended. A sudden earthquake rocks the room while they talk, collapsing the basement walls and leaving the agents trapped.
Several days later, James and Kate await a rescue team. James' PDA goes off, and a group of undead are seen on the security cameras. Realizing that they are in danger, James has Kate gather all the weaponry they can find in preparation for the arrival of their foes.
